Verizon today announced that BlackBerry Storm2 would be available in Verizon stores starting October 29th. The new Storm2 brings new SurePress clickable display technology and built-in WiFi, along with hundreds of hardware and software enhancements. The Storm2 will come with 3.25-inch touchscreen (480 x 360), 3.2-megapixel camera, EVDO Rev A., 2100MHZ HSPA, quad-band GSM/EDGE, Bluetooth, GPS, 256MB RAM, 2GB on-board storage and microSD card slot. Verizon will include 16GB microSD card with each phone. Battery life on the phone is 5.5 hours of talk time and 11.2 days of standby time. Along with Storm2, Verizon also announced that BlackBerry OS 5.0 is available now for download to all present BlackBerry Storm customers. The BlackBerry Storm2 is available beginning October 28 for $179.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two year customer agreement.
