Just five months after launching their first Micro Four Thirds camera E-P1, Olympus has introduced their second camera based on the technology called E-P2. The new camera adds port for new high-resolution electronic viewfinder, two new Art filters, AF tracking and new i-Enhance ‘color boosting’ function.

Olympus claims that the new E-P2 is the world’s smallest 12.3-megapixel interchangeable lens system camera with in-body image stabilization. The main features of the camera are 3-inch HyperCrystal LCD, TruePic V image processor, automatic scene recognition with iAuto, 20 shooting modes, face detection and shadow adjustment technology, 720p video recording, 3fps continuous shooting mode, ISO range of 100-6400, simultaneous writing of RAW and JPEG and Supersonic Wave Filter dust reduction system.

The Olympus E-P2 will ship in two configurations with 14-41mm f/3.5-5.6 Zuiko Digital Zoom lens and electronic view finder, or with 17mm f/2.8 Lens and electronic view finder in January. Olympus PEN E-P2 is available on Amazon for pre-order priced $1099.99 for both the configurations.
