Creative and ZiiLABS have announced plans to demo Zii chipset based Android smartphone at the Zii Summit in China on December 1st. The smartphone will be based on ZMS-05 chipset rather than recently announce ZMS-08 chipset, but it will offer 1080p HD video output, OpenGL ES 3D graphics, accelerated browsing and more.

Developers can already load Android on the Zii EGG developer device, but Creative claims that the demo will show the first device with Zii Optimized Android Phone platform. No word yet on whether Creative will ship a smartphone based on Android, or the demo is just to show the phone capabilities of the Zii platform. So that other manufacturers can develop smartphones based on Zii.

Along with the Android smartphone, Creative will also showcase touch tablet PC, netbook, Web-box, 360-degree multi-view camera system, ultra high-performance speakers, piano keyboard for PC and e-book reader at the Zii Summit 2009.
