UK retailer Clove has confirmed that Acer’s first Android based phone Liquid A1 will ship in late November. The phone will feature 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel camera, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot. The phone will be based on older Android 1.6 OS in place of Android 2.0 released recently. Also the phone will feature Snapdragon processor running at 768MHz compared to 1GHz Snapdragon processor found on other smartphones. Acer Liquid A1 will be priced £328 including VAT in UK (about $550).
