Nokia has officially launched 6260 Slide – a 5-megapixel camera phone based on Symbian S40 platform. Nokia says the phone is designed to share photographs and video online via phone’s 3G and WiFi network. The 6260 combines great camera, music player, web browser and range of Ovi online services to make it a compelling Internet device. It has a 5-megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with flash to take fantastic pictures and videos to share on Ovi or other photo and video sharing websites. The 6260 slide comes with Nokia Maps and assisted GPS for navigation and location based services. The Nokia 6260 slide will ship in first quarter of 2009 for an estimated price of Euro 299 ($389), before taxes and subsidies.
