Today, Alienware released their new 17-inch M17 gaming notebook that is outfitted with ATI CrossFIre X graphics. This is the first Alienware laptop to come with mobile quad core processor option. The laptop can be configured with Core 2 Quad or Extreme processor, up to 4GB RAM, dual ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870 graphics cards, WUXGA LCD screen, optional HDTV tuner, optional RAID 0/1 hard drive setup, optional Blu-ray drive, WiFi, Bluetooth and facial recognition sensor. The starting price for the system is $1,399, but you get peanuts for that price, configuring a good gaming machine will make the price cross the $3,000 mark easily.
