Apple working on Software Fix for MacBook Pro Trackpad Problem

On Monday, new MacBook owners started complaining about a trackpad issue with the new MacBook, where after every 50 clicks the trackpad stopped responding. The trackpad would start working normally after few seconds. A blogger who was facing the trackpad problem and wrote an email to Steve Jobs reported that an Apple representative called and informed him that the company is looking into the complaints, but has no immediate resolution for trackpad problem.
Macrumors is reporting that one of their reader also emailed Steve Jobs about the same trackpad problem and got a reply back simply stating, “Software fix coming soon.” According to Macrumors, Steve Jobs has been known to reply to emails in the past and a review of the email headers found them to be consistent with Jobs previous emails.
The email didn’t provide any information about when Apple will release the software fix or how large the problem is, but it would definitely give some reassurance to affected MacBook owners that Apple is working on the issue and the software update will solve the problem.
