Images of upcoming Dell Studio XPS 13 have been leaked on the Internet. The outer case of the new XPS 13 is designed with slick leather, brushed metal and glossy plastic. It has a 13-inch edge-to-edge glass display with option of LED backlighting. Dell has started putting some emphasis on design this year and that is shown in the fit and finish of the XPS 13.
Specification-wise the laptop will have Intel Core 2 Duo processor, at least 2GB RAM, two USB ports, one eSATA port, HDMI, VGA, Ethernet, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth, DVD burner, integrated webcam with microphone and multi-format card reader. Hybrid SLI graphics, Blu-ray drive, WiMAX and UWB support will be available optionally. No word on price or date of release yet, but the starting price should be around $1,000.
