Following the launch of Intel’s new Atom processor lineup, Dell has announced the updated version of Inspiron Mini 10 netbook featuring new Atom N450 processor. The redesigned Mini 10 offers streamlined case that can accommodate six-cell battery for up to nine and half hours of battery life on single charge. Along with the new Atom processor Dell will also offer optional Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator for full HD 1080p video playback on external display or HDTV. Hardware specifications of the netbook are 10.1-inch screen with 1366 x 768 resolution, 160GB hard drive, 1GB or 2 GB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, optional 3G support, GPS, TV tuner and webcam. The new Inspiron Mini 10 will be available in four colors for a starting price of $299 in January.
