T-Mobile G1 owners might get an after Christmas gift from T-Mobile. According to BGR, T-Mobile is planning to send out an extended battery, along with a matching battery cover to all the G1 owners. The reason behind this action from T-Mobile is general compliant from G1 owners about awful battery life.  The new battery pack will have 1400mAh power that is about 20 percent more than 1150mAh power on present G1 batteries. If T-mobile goes though with the plan of replacing batteries from all G1 owners, it will start sending out letters to G1 owners in next few weeks and the actual batteries should follow. It is good thing that T-Mobile is taking action against one common complaint from the new G1 owners. This will improve ownership experience of the device and create positive customer service experience for all G1 owners.
