Today, Apple announced that over 1 million NBC shows have be downloaded since the network came back to iTunes on September 9th. The NBC Universal returned to iTunes store after months of absence due to a dispute over variable pricing. Steve Jobs announced on 9th September in his “Let’s Rock” keynote that NBC is back on iTunes and within 10 days they have sold more than a million shows. According to various reports before NBC left iTunes last year, NBC accounted for around 30 percent of iTunes’ best-selling episodes and season passes. The top selling NBC shows on iTunes were Heroes, The Office and Saturday Night Live (Now also these are the top selling NBC shows). NBC universal accounted for around 40 percent of total revenue TV shows make on iTunes. The one million figure in ten days shows that NBC has again got a good start, we hope that they don’t become greedy and mess it up again.
