Smartphone market share is rising and it is having a positive effect on all smartphone makers, which is clearly evident in the September revenue report given by HTC. HTC reported NT$13.7 billion ($423 million) for September month, up 30 percent from the same period last year. Overall for the Q3 of 2008 that ended in September, company’s revenues were NT$37.86 ($1.17 billion), representing 30.06 percent year-over-year growth. The total net income after bonus and tax adjustment was NT$7,071 million ($218 million) and earnings per share was NT$9.36 ($0.289). The revenue results were in line with the guidance provided by the company. HTC said that it would continue to achieve 20-30 percent annual revenue growth.
