While everyone was guessing that Verizon will be the first to announce the new BlackBerry Storm touchscreen handset, it turns out that it is Vodafone from the other side of pond who first came out clean about the new handset. The carrier has confirmed that the new handset will feature a 3.25-inch 460 x 360 resolution LCD touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera, 128MB RAM, 1GB of flash memory and microSD card slot for expansion of up to 16GB. For communication the phone will support quad-band GSM, HSPA, GPS and Bluetooth. There is no mention of WiFi. The Vodafone’s Storm website talks about responsive touchscreen, integrated messaging, high-resolution screen and high-performance sound. There in no info about price and release date available yet.
