Nokia Shows off Future iPhone Killer (to be released second half 2008)

Nokia released some cool new mobile phones today and also showed off their concept for future iPhone killer. The problem with the concept is that it looks more like an iPhone-clone than a killer. This concept will be released in about a year and looks almost like the present iPhone (Nokia said hardware is not real and its just a UI demo). The second problem with the concept is that by the time Nokia releases this phone Steve Jobs would have given a Keynote for iPhone 2.0. The truth is that no mobile phone maker has a UI even close to what iPhone UI has and every company wants you to wait till they catch-up with Apple. This is the same thing that happened in the MP3 player market. The biggest question is why would I wait one year for a concept phone, which is vaporware right now when I can get a solid product like an iPhone.
