AT&T Launching Mobile TV on Sunday May 4th

AT&T will be launching the Mobile TV network using QualComm’s MediaFLO network on 4th May. The two cellphones that well take advantage of the new service are LG Vu and Samsung Access. The LG Vu a touchscreen phone with 2-megapixel camera and Bluetooth will be available for $300 with 2 year contract and $100 rebate. Where as the Samsung Access a candybar phone with large landscape display will cost $200 with 2-year contract and $100 rebate. The Basic package of TV service starts at $15 per month in addition to monthly fee for your Voice plan. The Mobile TV Plus package for $30 a month includes unlimited Mobile TV, unlimited mobile Web browsing on MEdiaTM Net and unlimited CV mobile video. There is also a limited basic package for $13 a month, which give you access to four channels: CBS Mobile, FOX Mobile, NBC 2Go and NBC News 2GO.
