Vodafone will Launch iPhone in Ten Countries

Vodafone the second largest mobile phone carrier after China mobile announced today that it has reached an agreement with Apple to launch the iPhone later this year in ten countries. Vodafone will launch iPhone for its customers in Australia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey. Vodafone is the second company after Rogers of Canada to announce a deal with Apple to launch the famous touchscreen phone. Vodafone will most probably release the iPhone in the ten countries after Apple announces the 3G iPhone in June. The rollout to all ten countries will be completed by end of 2008.
