Intel showed off systems based on the upcoming Atom processors and also their next generation X4500 graphics chipset at Systems Expo in Tokyo, Japan. Many new small devices based on the Atom processors will be launched starting this June. The system that were shown included embedded computer from Dux, car information system from Portwell, motherboard for MID from Sophia systems and 1.6GHz Atom processor based circuit boards by Nagano and Omron. A system board using the upcoming X4500 graphics chipset was also show. Intel will launch the X4500 integrated graphics card with the upcoming Centrino 2 platform. Seeing the number of upcoming devices based on Intel Atom, it has become a hit product even before it is launched.
