LG announced today the world’s most energy efficient monitor Flatron W2252TE. The 22” display has 1680 x 1050 resolution, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 2ms response time, 170 degree viewing angle and 250cd/m2 brightness. Spec-wise the display sounds excellent and LG claims that they have reduced the power consumption by 40W, making the display 45% more power efficient than any display sold by LG. The display will ship in the UK in August and LG has yet not announced the price.
