Sanyo’s 1080p Xacti DMX-HD1000

According to Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD1000 is world’s smallest camcorder that can record 1080p. The camcorder records in HD/MPEG-4 AVC codec and can shoot for up to 2 hours on a single charge. It can also take 8-megapixel stills and has 10X optical zoom. Other features on the camcorder are 2.7” screen, HDMI out, SDHC support and 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensor. The camcorder can record 1 hour and 25 minutes of full HD recording on 8GB SDHC card. The camcorder will be available in Japan in September for about $1000.
