Net Application today released its Web Browser and OS stats for January 2008. Apple’s Safari hit a new all time high with 5.82% share of the browsers visiting net Applications’ network of websites worldwide. Both Safari and Firefox gained market share at Internet Explorers expense, which has lost more the 3% market share in past one year. Apple’s Mac also hit a new all time high with 7.57% share of the operating systems visiting Net Applications network of websites worldwide. In OS market share also Apple is gaining at Microsoft’s expense. Microsoft has lost almost 2% market share to Apple in past one year. Apple’s share of mobile devices is growing rapidly and has reached 0.17% which is now nearly triple that of Windows CE’s 0.06%.
