Details have been revealed on NVIDIA’s website about two upcoming laptop GPUs the GeForce 9500M and 9300M. The 9500M has core clock speed of 475MHz and memory clock speed of 700MHz. The GPU will have 32 stream processors and maximum memory will be 512MB. Specifications wise there is not much difference between 9500M and previous generation 8600M GT. The 9300M has core clock speed of 400MHz and memory clock speed of 600MHz. The Maximum memory is 256MB and again there is no difference in specifications between 9300M and 8400M GS. NVIDIA will be using the new 65nm chips in the upcoming GPUs and that should help in better power usage and cooler operations, two very important factors in laptops. Release dates and prices are not yet known.
