AT&T has launched a pilot program in twelve stores and equips each store with Microsoft’s Surface touchscreen tables. AT&T has released a preview video of the Surface table to show us how it looks and works in their store. Surface uses multitouch technology to give information about the coverage, price, cellphone specs, comparison charts and suggest accessories for the handset placed upon it. In future, AT&T will add features like wireless content (contact, images, music and other files) transfer from your old phone to the new phone just by placing the two handsets on the Surface table. The pilot program started on 7th April in New York City, Atlanta, San Antonio and San Francisco.
