AMD launched three new Phenom X3 chips 8750, 8650 and 8450, that have clock speed of 2.4GHz, 2.3GHz and 2.1GHz respectively. The chips have a TDP of 95 W, 1.5MB Level 2 cache and 2MB level 3 cache. The price will range between $195 and $145 for the three processors. AMD released their first tri-core processor in March and positioned the processor between the standard dual-core and high-end quad-core machines. Desktops based on the new processors should start appearing in market in May.
