Samsung F480 is one of the first touchscreen devices using the new TOUCHWiZ user interface. The unique menu of widgets displays functions such as clock, radio player, music player and other personal elements. You can drag and drop new widget on the menu for quick access. Samsung has added a modified haptic feedback technology; Samsung calls the technology “differentiated tactile technology”. The other big feature on the phone is its 5-megapixel camera that uses a high-end CMOS sensor. The camera features auto focus, face detection, image stabilization and smile shot mode. The F480 will come with 240MB onboard memory, microSD card slot, USB 2.0 support, GSM, HSDPA and a battery that would last three hours talk time. The phone measures 3.87” x 2.16” x 0.45” making it relatively easy to hold in hand. The phone will be available in Europe starting this June and will be released soon in other GSM markets.
