Under Pressure Rogers Decides to Offer $30 6GB iPhone Data PlanSubmitted by lalit on July 9, 2008 - 11:46am.
Under Pressure from the strong backlash against the iPhone price plans, Rogers today announced a limited-run promotional plan for the iPhone 3G. Customers who sign up for the Apple device before the end of August will have a option of selecting a $30 monthly plan that offers 6GB of data per month along with any existing voice plan Rogers already offers. Rogers says that this will give iPhone users enough bandwidth to watch nearly 105 hours of YouTube video per month on cellular network. Now 6GB is a good enough limit, I have never crossed 1.5GB per month on my iPhone. I know iPhone 3G is faster, that means I will surf three times faster, but will I surf three times more, I don’t know. FeedBurner |
