Apple has notified developers that the iPhone App Store will launch for users to download and use applications at around 9 am PST on Thursday morning. According to Tech Crunch that is when the prohibition will lift allowing press to write about specific applications. The App store will go live along with iPhone 2.0 and iTunes 7.7 software that will be required to use the App Store. The Thursday launch will also allow the iPhone 3G buyers to start using the App Store as soon as they grab their shiny new iPhone.
